I never leave reviews However I was impelled to do so regarding my experience and the product that I received. This place is definitely overrated. I ordered two cakes both were extremely dry and the outer edges of the cake were hard an I arrived to pick up my cakes and they could not find my name on the list which was okay, it happens, no big deal. I told the person my name several times which by the way I am a female then after a long exchange of him looking at the list and asking me my name several times, he asked me if my name was the mans name from the list and I simply stared at him, like dude you just asked me my name like ten times So he then goes back and he looks at the list again then he asked me if Im Uber eats. I again didnt say anything, so he scans the list again then walks away from the counter goes back finds another list and BOOM there I am. That exchange was very annoying. Once he finds my name he then proceeds to ask me what I ordered like really dude then asks a coworker if it or I should say whats in the cooler. She too, just looks at him for a moment then politely says, she has placed all pick up orders in the cooler. And again BOOM he goes there and both cakes are there. So this lets me know it wasnt me, it was simply that employee. This place and its cakes are definitely overrated. I consider myself to be somewhat of a cake connoisseur. I make pretty good cakes myself and Ive had several cakes from all over the world. This place should not be selling cakes. They were some of the worst cakes Ive ever had. If it were only one of the cakes that was like I described above, I could understand that mistakes happen, but it was BOTH cakes which leads me to believe that its not just me but its their actual cakes. Avoid this place at all costs and spend your money somewhere else. Also all the rave reviews lead me to believe they are fake or these people dont know what real cake is. I was utterly disappointed and dissatisfied. Not too mention it was my birthday so I ended up having two cakes that went into the trash and was left with no birthday cake. My husband and I decided to serve pie at our reception instead of cake and bought half of our pies from Shyndigz. We would have gotten all of them from Shyndigz if they werent so expensive. I decided to do multiple dessert cakes instead of one big wedding cake, and the ones we ordered from Shyndigz were amazing! I highly recommend them! My cakes where exactly as promised, and the flavors where a HUGE hit. If youre not sure, stop by on thursday, friday, or saturday evenings during their cafe hours to try it for yourself. You will never look for another bakery again. I promise. My mom took the reins on my wedding cake as a special surprise to me. She is an extremely creative woman, so I knew that no matter her creation it would be spectacular.
