The camp went great! Obviously they really enjoyed the camp and the coaches. They were truly terrific. The coaches did a fantastic job, as always! My kids loved going to camp everyday. Throughout the year, UK International Soccer provides community day camps, residential camps, seasonal training programs, training academies, team coaching, player and coach clinics, school programs, team tours, merchandise packages, and coach education products. Our focus is physical literacy and exciting games to build confidence and teach the fundamentals of soccer. Within this curriculum players will cover ball familiarization, small group dynamics, motor skill development and social interaction, all with maximum participation in a fun oriented environment. The Fun in the Sun program lasts 1. Each child receives a dri-fit shirt and certificate of participation. The program places the fun back in the hands of the children through our organic, free flowing and creative activities. This program is designed for younger players from years of age and typically takes place on a Saturday morning for 3 hours. The format will vary depending on the ages and ability levels of the children. The soccer-based activities promote the development of motor skills, encourage group interaction, develop communication skills and provide an excellent form of physical exercise. The children will have the opportunity to play soccer in a positive, developmental and safety conscious environment. Each child receives a certificate of participation at the end of the program. Each session lasts 1 to 1. The curriculum has been specifically designed for individual players and small groups. We focus on fundamental motor skills, technical development and skill building in a positive and stimulating environment. You choose the time and UKIS coach. Each session typically lasts 1 hour. Our coaches deliver engaging activities within age appropriate practices that highlight individual techniques to develop key proficiencies for the game. Players are challenged to consider basic tactical components at an age appropriate level, including attacking and defending principles. During the week players will be assessed using standardized skills tests. Each child receives a dri-fit shirt and a skills test evaluation. Players will leave the clinic with an added cutting edge in front of goal. This program is designed for players from 8 years of age and older and typically takes place on a Thursday evening for 2 hours. The format will vary depending on the age and ability level of the children. Fun and exciting 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 games will culminate in a daily Street Soccer tournament. The Play The Game curriculum takes place after lunch and lasts 2. Each child receives a dri-fit shirt, ball if part of the program and a skills test evaluation. The aim of the program is to create an environment conducive to both individual and team development. Areas of focus can include functional coaching, technical development, positional responsibilities, transitional play, set plays, team tactics, communication and systems of play. The curriculum includes health education covering nutrition and fitness for soccer. The team program lasts 3 or 6 hours a day for 5 days. To ensure a more rounded learning experience, players will cover sports and health lectures that address topics such as nutrition, flexibility, strength and fitness for soccer. Players will receive an individual evaluation highlighting specific strengths and areas for improvement. Players will leave the clinic more educated and prepared for this key role.
