My favorite kinds of heavy metal are melodic, power, and progressive metal, so naturally the show focuses mostly on those genres. I’ll throw in the occasional thrash or death metal tune as well. Bands that show up a lot include Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, Seventh Wonder, Dream Theater, Avantasia. On NWIWRAP I try to keep up with what’s going on in several independent wrestling promotions active in the area, such as ARWPRO, Fire Pro Wrestling, Pro Wrestling King, and Acme Championship Wrestling. I often have guests from these promotions in the studio to talk about their product.
