Been to melting pot before and experience was quite different I understand hard being short staff because of covid but no longer make the cheese fondue in front of you and the cheese was lacking flavour and all draft beer was out. With all the room in the restaurant, they put us so close to other diners, we had young children crying throughout our dining experience. The servers timings were off all night long the server dropped food on one of the guests at our table when the flaming dessert was being served they did not wait for the guests who had gotten up to use the washroom to return before serving 2 of the 6 were at the table – 4 guests missed the presentation – which is part of the reason we went to the restaurant. This was an important celebration and I was very disappointed in the experience. I do not think I will return for a very long time, if ever. I have found this year we felt rushed. They didnt take our HOT oil away in a safe manner which they were doing it on other tables. The brought our chocolate and left the crumbs on the table until we started to clean up crumbs they then offered. We always had to ask for extras it was never offered. Next year we plan to spend our money else were. I had a server named nick, is on top of everything and super quick! Great place – only issue I have is that we had difficulty getting into the lot.
