Quick links. Home Board index. Some L1s chips? I know I could always use another few. This might have a limited audience, though. Not sure what size you use nowadays, as a 2 foot one would not be what I would want. Free shipping for an order? Tough to ship small items in my opinion and justify it. Hi all This is a great list Folknology and my idea is to give tree prize in special time. I just received my book from the original Monday Madness considering everyone was talking about delays sending, it came pretty quick from Bristol to Vancouver. Thanks XMOS! And I got the book and the shirt. Started to read it on subway this morning already.

Re New XCore competition – have your say! You guys mods might also want to clear up some of the mixed up dev kit posts from here also, especially when it was an edit rather than a quote as it makes for confused reading for anyone coming to this post later – regards Al Mods are working in it. Bringing this back on track to the competition ideas then , Im writing down a list of things that Ill present at our next web team meeting as ideas and suggestions from the community. I like the idea of a solve the problem style competition, although I can see it being easily dominated by one or two experienced users. Skeksis wrote Why not build upon the Activity Points prize by adding tiers you have one for points, why not , , etc? Bianco wrote Too many rewards for activity points ask for spammers It wouldnt matter much at the moment anyway. There are still giveaways for the first 50 to reach points. People with more points are usually already more active.

However were excited to see what fascinating xCORE-based projects the Raspberry Pi development community can come up with. As such, were offering to give away five startKITs to members of the Raspberry Pi community ahead of the pack in return for some early reviews. Were keen to find Raspberry Pi enthusiasts with experience of developing these kind of microcontroller solutions in C who would be willing to tell the rest of the community what they think of our technology, and start working on personal projects that use the Raspberry Pi in conjunction with our board. Whether your project revolves around industrial solutions, motor control, robotics, audio, communications, or whatever, we dont mind! The more creative and fun, the better. For a chance to get one of these early-draw startKITs for free, please email rpfprojects xmos. Well email successful applicants back within the week. Applications were originally due to close on December 5th, but were going to extend it by a few days. Lets see what you can do! Thanks, Bill. Went to buy a few of these but digikey is a deal breaker. Why not mouser or even better sparkfun. I know the raspberry pi had the same problem itself. I am very happy to see that you are open sourcing the tools, not sure why we have to login to download open sourced tools Maybe someone can make a port of all or a subset of the tools for folks to actually develop on the raspberry pi not bare metal but raspberry pi running linux. Let us know when you have a better for Raspberry Pi budgeted folks distributor and I will certainly buy a few boards. I dont want any free ones, I wont be initially, if ever, making something marketing worthy with the combination. I am more of a nuts and bolts person, blink some leds, see if I can get anyone else so far not to do xmos assembly language, teach others to go and make cool stuff At this price it will make a nice peripheral for a raspberry pi. Re XMOS multicore microcontroller dev board giveaway Wed Dec 11, am Nice you can actually build the sources for the tools, at least binutils, ran into warnings treated as errors so had to add a compile flag to the build. Which has 8 cores, it is kind of like 8 processors in one chip.
